DETROIT – Sunday morning will be mild with powder blue skies and temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Streets and sidewalks will be dry under the bright sun for families off to services, festivals and family reunions.
Sunday afternoon will be mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the middle 80s. The day will be perfect for enjoying the second to last Sunday to enjoy the pool.

Sunday evening will be calm, mostly clear and mild for all evening plans. Temps will be in the 70s.
More humid air sneaks into the Detroit area Sunday night with lows in the 60s. By Monday morning, hazy skies will envelope more of Southeast Michigan to start the work-week.
Sunshine follows the Motor City area Monday afternoon, and it will be hotter. Daytime highs will be near 90 degrees. Muggier weather returns, too, and with this comes the chance of evening and nighttime showers and thunderstorms.
Tuesday will be another scorcher with highs near 90 with showers and storms possible. Some showers may linger Wednesday. More comfortable air arrives Thursday and Friday with drier weather and daytime temps in the middle and low 80s.
