Dangerously cold air sticks around in Metro Detroit

Wind Chill Warnings, Winter Weather Advisories continue

DETROITAir temps are in the teens below zero and winds are whipping around SW 15-25 mph.

It is dangerous cold and you are advised not to go outside unless it is necessary.

Frost bite and hypothermia are the main concerns and it won't take long if you're not protected.

A few light lake effect snow showers are likely.

Another cold one Wednesday with subzero temps to start and highs finally climbing into the teens.

Our Wind Chill Warning will expire Wednesday morning at 7 a.m.

Make sure you check on your neighbors and your pets.
