DETROIT – Wind Chill Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories continue for the rest of your Monday.
Some lake effect snow squalls can make travel very tricky when you factor in Sunday's record snowfall in the Detroit area. Be extra careful driving and don't go out unless you have to. Wind chills are the BIG story as temps drop, the wind persists and it will feel like -20 to -30 degrees all day. Winds will be gusty W 10-25 mph with occasional lake effect snow showers.

The Wind Chill Warning continues all day Tuesday. Air temps tomorrow morning will be -12 degrees with wind chills -30 to -40 degrees at times. This is dangerous, dangerous stuff. Schools will likely be canceled again tomorrow. Highs may hit zero and light lake effect snow showers are likely. Those pesky winds WSW 15-20 mph will be bone chilling bringing record low temps Tuesday and the coldest air we've seen in the last 20 years.
