Dense fog possible again Sunday night

Monday through Wednesday look dry, highs in low to mid 50s

It now appears that locally dense areas of fog are possible once again tonight.  The cause for this fog is a very light breeze from the east across Lakes Huron, St. Clair and Erie, which are adding moisture to the atmosphere.

Some of you will see the same blanket of very low visibility that we saw the past two mornings, with near-zero visibility possible in some locations.

If you are worried about flights at Metro Airport, planes can actually take off in low visibility, but there are restrictions for landing and, in fact, there were some brief delays for arriving aircraft early this morning at Metro.

The fog should begin dissipating by 10 a.m. Monday morning.

Monday through Wednesday all look dry, with highs in the low to mid 50s.  Thanksgiving itself looks spectacular, with mostly sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures in the upper 50s!  A cold front coming in Thursday night will bring windy and colder weather just in time for the first "official" days of the holiday shopping season.
