Detroit Weather: Slow moving downpours, lows in the 60s

We want rain.  We need rain.  We just don’t need it this fast.

Downpours around tonight will be heavy and slow-moving.  Localized flooding is possible, especially highway underpasses and low-lying areas.

Any storms we see will be widely scattered.  Overnight lows will be in the low-to-mid 60s.

Saturday looks like it will be our best chance of getting wet.  This time our shower/storm chances won’t be confined to the afternoon and evening.

We could see one pop at any point in the day.  More of the day will be dry than wet, however.

Highs will be in the low 80s.  Humidity levels will be noticeable during the day.

Sunday we should remain dry under mostly cloudy skies.  It will be our coolest high of the forecast, right around 80 degrees.

In fact most of the 10 Day Forecast looks dry, except for Friday of next week!  Hotter temperatures return next week as well.  We’ll be near 90 degrees for much of the second half of next week.
