DETROIT -

Patchy fog may greet you again this morning with morning low temps in the 60s. The fog is thicker out in the suburbs and there is a bit of light rain passing through the northern part of the Thumb.

We will see hazy sunshine turning partly sunny with highs today in the mid to upper 80s feeling more like 90 degrees. We will be watching the potential for showers and storms moving in here late, probably after 8 or 9 pm this evening. We’ll see a few scattered showers later tonight and overnight.

Lingering showers may be an issue for the first half of Saturday as the center of storm maker will be temporarily parked over Canada. That will try to keep our rain chances alive through lunch tomorrow but we should see dryer conditions heading into the afternoon.

Labor Day weekend brings a few chances for scattered showers and storms. It will stay warm though and no severe weather is expected.  Track radar and the warm neighborhood temps on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it’s free!) in your app store.
