Forecast: Bright, warmer Thursday in metro Detroit

DETROIT – Finally! We can see light at the end of this cloudy tunnel.

Not tonight, though. Mostly cloudy skies will stick around through sunrise. Any of those pesky sprinkles will dry out quickly toward sunset. Lows will return to the low and mid 50s.

Thursday forecast:

Waking up on Thursday, we'll get at least limited sunshine. But by afternoon, clouds will thin out and we'll finish the day bright and warmer. Highs tomorrow will reach the mid 70s. And that's just the appetizer!

Friday forecast:

Friday looks fantastic. Mostly sunny skies will allow to temperatures to jump into the upper 70s.

Weekend forecast:

The weekend will bring 80-degree highs, but also some afternoon showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. Sunday is looking dry. Humidity returns, then though.

And temperatures continue moving through the 80s next week. Check out the ABOVE average highs in the 10 Day Forecast!
