Before getting to the forecast, just a reminder to shoot some photos and video and post them on our Storm Pins app!
I’m working all of our newscasts this weekend, and I really want to show some spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and any downpours that a few of you may get in the late afternoon. And don’t forget that you can go to the Storm Pins map yourself and see what everybody else is posting -- weather has NEVER been more social than this.

Alright -- on to the forecast:
Any isolated early evening soakers should shrivel up, leaving us dry for most of tonight. Lows in the low 60s, with wind becoming calm.
Saturday is shaping up to be just like the past few days -- mostly dry, but isolated soakers roughly between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. If you looked at a radar map during the late afternoon any day this week, you saw heavy downpours, but only covering about 10 percent of the area at any given time. So, the wise thing to do is prepare a rain contingency if you have outdoor plans, but understand that there's a better chance you'll have a dry day. Highs in the low 80s, with a light northeast wind.
Again, I'll be working all of this weekend's newscasts for Andrew, so check in with me on Local 4 News Today starting at 6am, and at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. for updates. And don't forget to download the FREE Local4Casters weather app -- it has a great radar display that lets you zoom in as tight as you want on your local community. Just search under WDIV in the app store -- it's right there.
Any isolated Saturday evening soakers should shrivel up, leaving us dry for most of the night. Lows in the low 60s.
Based upon today's computer models, I'm still keeping Sunday dry...a nice summer day with highs in the low 80s.
Partly cloudy Sunday night, with lows in the mid 60s.
Monday's weather pattern reverts back to what we've had, with scattered soakers during the mid afternoon through early evening period. Highs in the low 80s.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday night. Lows in the mid 60s.
Tuesday and Wednesday both feature a chance of showers and thunderstorms (not necessarily afternoon pop-ups…could become a little more widespread as a weak front pushes through). Highs in the upper 70s both days.
Mostly sunny on Thursday, with highs in the low 80s.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms developing on Friday -- it depends upon the timing of the next weather system, which today's computer models suggest will be later in the day. Highs in the low 80s.
