MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down on Place Road between 29 Mile and 30 Mile roads in Lenox Township.

It was rated as an EF0 tornado with estimated wind speeds of 75 mph.

Local 4 received several photos Wednesday showing the funnel cloud over Richmond, Lenox Township and Chesterfield Township in Macomb County.

The funnel was a very small one, so small in fact that Local 4's Ben Bailey and Paul Gross were not able to detect any rotation on radar Wednesday afternoon.

At least two people spotted the small funnel cloud near Richmond Township.
