Saturday morning will be gray and temperatures near or just below freezing. There may be some isolated slick spots, especially on ramps, bridges and overpasses, for families and football fans going out in the morning.

The storied rivalry between the Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes is at noon eastern at Michigan Stadium. Temperatures will have risen from the low 30s at tailgating time to the upper 30s at kickoff.

Skies will clear up and become mostly sunny at the end of the game and at the start of the Michigan State-Penn State game in East Lansing at 3:30pm ET. It will be chilly with highs in the low 40s. Football fans at both matches will need to dress in layers and where hats, gloves, scarves and coats to stay warm.

Saturday evening will be fair and chilly with temps returning to the 30s.

Detroiters will need to keep their heaters on overnight. It will be clear and cold with lows in the low and middle 20s.

Sunday will be sunny and seasonably chilly. Highs will be in the middle and upper 40s for shoppers. Travelers will have dry roads and good weather conditions at Detroit Metro.

Monday will be mostly sunny and chilly with highs in the middle 40s.

The next chance of showers is Monday night, Tuesday and part of Wednesday. Rain arrives late Monday night and much of Tuesday. Highs will be in the low 50s Tuesday. A cold front drops temperatures Wednesday with scattered rain turning to scattered snow. Temps will be in the 40s and 50s in the morning and drop to the 30s in the afternoon.

It becomes sunnier and gets chillier, again, Thursday and Friday. Highs will be in the 40s. Lows will be in the 20s and 30s.
