Higher temperatures in Detroit Monday

Temperatures back above 60, but more rain this week

DETROIT – Happy Earth Day!

Monday morning will be dry but chilly for folks returning to work and school.

Low temps will be in the low 30s. A southwest wind will bring temperatures back from the brink in the afternoon.

Highs will be above average, for a change, near 65.

Monday night will be fair and cool with lows near 40.

Tuesday will become partly sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 60s.

The afternoon will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms that will last into the evening. Downpours may be heavy at times.

Wednesday will have morning showers and storms with highs in the middle and upper 50s.
