DETROIT – We'll go from warm to warmer today as highs will be in the range of 90 degrees or warmer. The humidity will be on the rise today too so it will start to feel more and more sticky and uncomfortable for the next couple of days. With the heat and humidity comes the chance for a few storms today. But, most of the activity will be north of M 59 and into the Thumb Region. Don't be surprised if we see a few storms this afternoon around Detroit. Winds Monday SW 7-13 mph with stronger gusts.
Our better chance for storms and soaking showers will be overnight tonight into Tuesday. In fact, we will see a few rounds of thunderstorms blowing through here the next couple of days. We are under a Slight Risk for severe storms tomorrow as highs will again reach near 90 degrees with higher humidity levels.
The rain will be heaviest in the morning and then again in the afternoon or a bit later. We may see a few storms linger into early Wednesday and then it returns to more beautiful weather midweek.
