Local 4Casters: Fair skies, chilly Saturday night

Lows in the 40s

DETROIT – Saturday night will be mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Sunday will be milder with high pressure that provides stable air for mostly sunny skies. Winds around that high pressure are clockwise and will flow from the southwest. Highs will be in the low 70s outside Ford Field when the Detroit Lions host the Arizona Cardinals.

Monday will be warmer than average, again, with highs near 75 degrees. A cold front arrives, so skies will go from mostly sunny to partly sunny.

Showers arrive Monday evening, Monday night and Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be cooler with highs barely around 60 degrees. Temperatures will slowly rise to the middle and upper 60s Wednesday and Thursday with sunnier skies.
