Local 4Casters: Scattered showers Tuesday evening

DETROIT – For the rest of Tuesday evening we'll see a few scattered, quick-moving showers. Thunder should stay south and east of us. Any raindrops will dry out by 10 to 11 p.m., but the humidity won't budge until closer to sunrise on Wednesday morning. Lows tonight will be cooler, around 60 degrees by sunrise.

Wednesday and Thursday will be similar with afternoon high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s, plenty of sunshine and low humidity. Wednesday night will be unseasonably cool and pleasant sleeping weather with lows in the mid-50s.

Going into the weekend, we'll have a few scattered thunderstorms. As of right now, those storms look like they'll happen around midday and the early afternoon, but we're too far out to bank on that. Temperatures and humidity will be increasing to highs near 90 (but probably just short) by Sunday.
