Local 4Casters: Warm, wet Sunday night

Rain to continue through the night

DETROIT – It remains warm but wet Sunday night with showers and thunderstorms possible. Temps will be in the 60s overnight.

A cold front approaches then crosses the region Monday. Rainy conditions will persist with pounding rain and falling temperatures during the day. Morning temps will be in the 60s then 50s. Afternoon temps will fall into the 40s.

Wet snow, which will melt when it first hits above-freezing pavement, is possible late Monday into early Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon will become sunnier but be much colder. Temps will be in the middle and upper 30s. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny as temperatures rebound slowly. Highs will be in the 40s Wednesday and in near 50 Thursday.
