Metro Detroit weather forecast: Chilly morning with temps in the 30s

A chilly morning with temps in the mid to upper 30s closer to Detroit, and near freezing temps in many of our suburbs under clear skies.

Tuesday sunshine won’t do too much to warm us up around Metro Detroit but it will feel nice as highs hit only the low 50s. The winds have calmed NW 5-10 mph and that sunshine all day make for a really nice Fall day.

Wednesday is still a bit up in the air with rain chances moving in. Most model data suggests a good chance of showers by mid afternoon, staying wet through the evening. There is at least one model suggesting scattered showers starting as early as mid morning and we will keep you updated all day on the air, on clickondetroit.com, and the Local4Casters app. Expect mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s with rain likely through the second half of the day into the first half of Thursday.

Thursday starts wet with afternoon clearing making the difference for potential temperatures. If skies stay cloudy, highs in the upper 40s and more sun will send us back into the low 50s. There’s another rain chance late evening Friday. As you know, the Fall Season brings constant changes so, make sure you have the Local4Casters app bringing the weather with you.
