Metro Detroit set for partly sunny Sunday, showers possible

70s in the afternoon, scattered showers

DETROIT – Sunday morning will be cool and partly sunny with lows in the 50s and low 60s.

Sunday afternoon will be milder with highs in the middle and upper 70s. There is a chance of rain, but it is lower than last week. A thirty percent chance of showers and thunderstorms exists after noon.

Sunday night will be partly cloudy and cool with lows near 60. Homeowners can save on air conditioning bills with comfortable sleeping weather.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be just as warm with wet weather remaining in the forecast. Each day brings a slight to moderate chance of showers and storms.

Sunshine and warmer weather return in time for the 4th of July and the weekend. Highs will be in the low 80s.
