DETROIT - Spring has sprung, but only part of the upcoming Metro Detroit forecast will resemble the season.
A few showers will be around late Monday afternoon and evening, but they'll fade after sunset. Temperatures are heading toward the freezing mark overnight.
We'll see Monday's clouds break up, leaving us partly cloudy for most of the night. Areas of fog might set up in our West and North Zones.
On Tuesday, we'll stay partly cloudy. Temperatures will rise to the low 50s by afternoon. A cold front will move through dry in the afternoon, bringing colder temperatures for midweek.
Highs Wednesday will be only in the mid-30s.
Thursday will be slightly milder, with highs in the low to mid-40s. Both days will bring mostly sunny skies, at least.
Our warmest day of the week will be Friday, but it will come with rain. High temperatures should hit 60 degrees.
We will start down the other side of the temperature slope for the weekend. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-50s. On Sunday we’ll stop in the upper 40s. Expect showers to hang around for both days, as well.
