Mild & cloudy start Thursday with more rain on the way

Highs in the upper 50s

DETROIT – Clouds are rolling back in and thickening, which will keep our temps from climbing into the warm category. Still, mild and breezy and we are watching spotty showers on radar moving our way this afternoon.

There will be periods of light rain this afternoon and evening with cooler high temps in the mid to upper 50s. Some areas with more consistent rain will struggle a bit more with low 50s for highs. Winds are cranking too SW 10-20 mph with gusts closer to 30 mph.

Your Friday includes more spotty, light afternoon showers. Partly cloudy and mild tomorrow morning in the mid 40s early but dry. With clouds and a few peeks of sun highs will creep into the upper 50s through Friday afternoon. Spotty rain showers will return through the afternoon but won't be hitting everyone so don't cancel your Friday evening plans.

We will have mild temperatures and lingering light rain showers to start your weekend. So, Saturday morning rain will be exiting the area through the lunch hour making for a nicer afternoon. Highs Saturday will be just below 60° with breezy conditions. We are looking at improving weather late Saturday and especially on Sunday. Highs Sunday will hit the low 60s with a bit more sunshine.
