Mild Wednesday with small chance for showers

Early morning showers with clearing skies later

DETROIT – We have some midday sunshine, but the clouds will be returning through your Wednesday afternoon.

Radar is picking up a few showers over Lake Michigan but most of it will dry up and/or drift north of Metro Detroit. Highs only climb into the mid 60s with winds picking up WSW 10-20 mph dragging lake enhanced clouds from time to time.

Only 10-20% of us will see a light rain from northern Livington and Oakland Counties toward The Thumb Region this afternoon and early evening.

ALCS Game 4 starts at 8:07pm and it looks like a mainly dry night with winds blowing out to left field W 5-15 mph. Temps cooling down through the 50s. A few sprinkles are possible tonight, but we will see a better chance for rain tomorrow.

Thursday will be a cooler fall day with mostly cloudy skies and afternoon rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 40s and then highs mainly in the upper 50s tomorrow.  And, the rain window will be between early afternoon and the early evening. So, Game 5 of the ALCS at Comerica Park may start a little wet but we should be drying out throughout the night.

We will be watching more cool and wet changes into your weekend forecasts. We have all you need to stay on top of radar, temps, and changes on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it's free!) in your app store.
