More of the same beautiful weather Thursday

Highs in the 70s

DETROIT – Just as we are stuck in a beautiful afternoon weather pattern with sunshine and 70s, we have the same issue in the morning. That means 40s and low to mid 50s for early morning lows and patchy fog developing in the usual Detroit Suburbs. That afternoon sunshine will boost our highs by a degree or two each day moving forward and that means Thursday afternoon highs will hit the mid 70s with mostly sunny skies. The winds will be light ESE 5-10 mph.

Copy and paste the forecast moving forward with patchy morning fog and sunny 70s over and over with no signs of any change.

Our slow and steady warm up means we may be flirting with near 80 degree readings by Friday or Saturday.

Our string of dry days will continue into the weekend ahead as most model data holds off the wet weather until early next week or beyond. That's great news for the area JDRF Walks on Sunday. I'll see you in Warren at the GM Tech Center Sunday at 8:30 am. We are walking for a cure for Type One Diabetes.
