More rain and cool temps across SE Michigan

DETROIT – A few rounds of rain this morning will slow you down a bit, but the showers will be coming and going and not a non-stop soaking rain early.

Temps are mainly in the mid to upper 40s as you head out and will only warm into the low to maybe mid 50s this afternoon. The wind will be cranking most of the day SW 10-25 mph gusting over 30 mph at times and more steady rain is heading back this afternoon. These showers will once again slow down the evening drive with showers hanging on.

Slightly cooler air will be moving in Wednesday which means morning lows will be in the mid 30s to low 40s with shower chances become more and more isolated. Other than a morning shower chance, afternoon showers will be a product of lake effect clouds producing a few spotty light showers. That means we will not see a ton of wet weather tomorrow, but cool and still breezy as highs may not get out of the 40s. Winds tomorrow will be WSW 10-18 mph.

Thursday and Friday look cool and dry with low to mid 30s as you head out first thing Thursday morning with a nice blend of sun and clouds. Thursday highs will get back into the mid 50s or slightly warmer with lighter winds. Friday starts dry but some evening showers are possible with a weak warm front moving in. So, highs will be a little warmer Friday into the upper 50s and low 60s. Friday night rain should linger into the morning hours Saturday, but most of the weekend is on the drier side.
