Mostly clear, cool overnight Sunday

Lows in the 50s

DETROIT – Sunday night will be mostly clear and cool with lows in the middle 50s.

More sunshine returns Monday. Students will enjoy outdoor recess with highs near 75 degrees. Football fans and tailgaters will enjoy pleasant weather outside Ford Field before the Lions take on the New York Giants at 7:30pm ET.

Tuesday beings with partly sunny skies, and ends with late-day and nighttime showers. During the day, temps will be in the middle and upper 70s. Wednesday and Thursday will be wet with showers and thunderstorms and afternoon readings in the middle and upper 70s. The moist weather is ahead of chillier air for Friday and Saturday. These days will be mostly sunny, but daytime temps will stay in the 60s. This is a good week to shop for a fall jacket and attire.
