DETROIT – Saturday morning will look like the landscape of the Serengeti with the first golden rays of sunshine filtering through haze and patchy fog. Lows will be in the low 50s. It is comfortable weather for Run 4 The Rouge runners and walkers in Canton, but spectators and supporters may need a jacket and/or long-sleeve shirt for the 8 a.m. start.

Saturday afternoon will be mostly sunny and warm with highs in the upper 70s. A light to moderate wind will blow from the south at 6 to 12 mph.

Saturday evening will have terrific date-night weather for any couples going to dinner, the movies or both. Sunset will be around 7:20 p.m. Afterward, Astronomy At The Beach stargazers in Milford will have mostly decent skies overhead. Some high and mid-level clouds may obstruct the view from time to time.

More clouds encroach Saturday night, especially after midnight. The blanket of clouds will keep temps in the upper 50s by Sunday morning.

A weak cold front will move over Detroit and Southeast Michigan Sunday. Skies will be cloudy, and the boundary is so limp that any rain will be scattered and light to moderate with little threat of any thunderstorm activity.
