Sunday afternoon will be much warmer with sunshine. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Now is an excellent time to remember not to leave children nor pet unattended in parked vehicles.
Sunday evening will be fair and mild with temperatures near 70°F and in the upper 60s. Conditions will be perfect outside Cobo Hall for families going to and from the Detroit NAACP's Freedom Fund Dinner.
Sunday night will be mild and partly cloudy with lows in the middle and upper 50s.
Monday will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms but skies will be partly sunny most of the day. The best chance for stormy weather is in the late afternoon and evening. Highs will be near 80 degrees. Drivers should prepare for a wet ride home.
Voters will need to factor in extra time traveling to and from the polls on Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely with some heavy downpours, gusty winds and frequent lightning. It will be cooler with the cloud cover. Highs will be between 60°F and 65°F.
Showers will linger on Wednesday, but it will get warmer with highs near 70°F. Skies will be sunnier the rest of the week with temperatures back into the middle and upper 70s Thursday and Friday.
