Local 4Casters: Warm with spotty storms

Storms arrive Monday afternoon

DETROIT – The humidity levels will start going down through the afternoon with the approach of a cool front.

We will hit the mid 80s today with winds SW 5-15 mph.

There is a chance for a few widespread showers and storms with the late afternoon heat and cold front clashing between 4-8pm. Make sure you download the Local4Casters App and take the radar with you for peace of mind.

Tuesday will be noticeably cooler with highs in the mid 60s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

It will feel nice and we can open up the windows for a couple of days ahead.

More cool air will pour in for your Wednesday as highs will hover right around 60 degrees under partly sunny skies.

We will start to warm up starting Thursday again with highs hitting 70 degrees into the weekend.

The next decent chance for showers will be late Sunday into Memorial Day Monday. It is very early to place high confidence in a Holiday wash out, so we will update that forecast for you all week. But, right now it looks quite wet late Sunday into Monday ahead around Metro Detroit.
