Highs in the low 80s

DETROIT – It will finally feel like summer the entire weekend in Detroit and Southeast Michigan with sunshine and seasonable humidity.

Anyone going to the Walk To End Alzheimer's at Ford Field will have dry roads when they arrive around 11am or 12 noon. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny with temps closer to 80 degrees.  

Saturday afternoon will be warm, humid and wonderful for a day at the pool, beach or water park. Highs will be in the low 80s, but it will feel like 85 or more. Families going to the Renaissance Festival in Holly will need to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Saturday evening will be warm and lovely with temperatures in the upper 70s. Rihanna and Eminem fans will need to stay cool so they can party hard and dance safely at Comerica Park.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with temps near 70 overnight. More patchy fog will develop by dawn.

Sunday will be a repeat of Saturday; warm, humid and summer-like. Highs will be in the low 80s, again, with a heat index of 85 or greater.

Monday and much of next week will see a return of humidity and instability. Monday and Tuesday temps will be near 90. A chance of showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours returns Monday night, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
