Mostly sunny, cold Friday afternoon in metro Detroit

Highs in the mid teens

DETROIT – Highs will struggle again in the mid to upper teens and mostly sunny skies to end the work and school week.

Saturday will be another cold start below zero and then warming into the upper teens and plenty of sunshine.

Snow comes our way on Sunday with light stuff in the morning and heavier snow in the afternoon and/or evening. We will likely see a pretty good spread of 2-3 inches of new snow to SE Lower Michigan which is nothing major but will affect regional travel. Be safe! Highs will be in the upper 20s and the warmer air is here to stay for a few days.

A mild Monday with highs in the 30 degree range with a few morning snow showers giving way to mostly sunny skies. Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid 30s or possibly warmer with a good chance for a wintry mix Tuesday lingering into Wednesday morning.
