Nice Monday on tap

But more storms on the horizon

DETROIT – It looks like partly cloudy skies and pleasant temperatures will start our new work week, with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s.  East-northeast wind at 4 to 8 mph.

Partly cloudy tonight, with lows in the low to mid 60s.

Becoming mostly cloudy on Tuesday, with increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms…not good news for the big March of Dimes Golf Classic at Indianwood … hopefully some of the rain will hold off. Highs in the upper 70s.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night, with lows in the mid 60s.

Wednesday through Friday bring continued chances of showers and thunderstorms, with highs slowly rising from the upper 70s on Wednesday to the low 80s on Friday, with overnight lows in the mid 60s.

This coming weekend is tough call.  I think we'll see a reduced chance of thunderstorms, although chances won't go completely to zero.  One thing I am more confident about is that temperatures should rise at least into the mid 80s
