No Monday blues, just plenty of sunshine

DETROIT – Happy Columbus Day! And, Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! It's a really pretty Monday with plenty of sunshine and cooler temps in the low to mid 60s for highs today. We will see a few more clouds on the east side as the NE winds 5-10 mph pump slightly cooler air in from the big lakes to the east.

We should drop into the mid and upper 40s overnight into early Tuesday with a few areas of fog first thing tomorrow morning. Then, partly sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. We will be tracking rain to our west all day but we will be dry for ALCS Game 3 at Comerica Park staring at 4:07pm.

The rain will start tomorrow evening around 8 or 9 pm and last Tuesday night into early Wednesday. We could be tracking trouble on the Wednesday morning's commute with wet and sloppy roads. For the rest of your hump day, expect scattered light showers as highs only climb into the low 60s at best. Cooler weather is on the way for the rest of the week.

We have Tigers' Playoff games coming to Detroit (Tue-Thurs) so we will be watching those midweek developments very closely. Track your neighborhood temps, radar, and an early look at your weekend forecasts on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it's free!) in your app store.
