DETROIT -

Labor Day Weekend will feel like summer in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. Although there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, it will not be a washout.

A few showers will linger Saturday evening, then fade away by 10pm. It will be warm and muggy overnight with partly cloudy skies and lows near 70 degrees.

Sunday will be partly sunny and warm with lighter winds. Highs will be in the low 80s in the afternoon.

Labor Day, Monday, will have a return of showers and storms, but it remains warm. Highs will be in the low 80s. More storms are possible Tuesday.

Wednesday and the rest of next week will be sunnier and remain warm. Highs will be near 80 and lows will be in the low and middle 60s.
