A cold front which crossed the area late Saturday afternoon and early evening took the rain with it, and we should be mostly dry for the next three days, before the weather pattern gets wetter…but warmer.
Skies become partly cloudy Saturday night, with lows in the mid-30s. Partly cloudy on Sunday (great tailgate weather if you're going to the Lions game), with highs near 50.
Partly cloudy on Monday (a few showers are possible in the Thumb later Monday as winds shift to the northeast off of Lake Huron), with highs in the low 50s.
Increasing clouds on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 40s.
Saturday's computer models are increasingly pointing toward a warmer, but wetter day for Halloween. An expansive ribbon of Gulf moisture ahead of a slow moving cold front will bring a solid band of rain.
The only question left is when the cold front will cross our area. Some models don't bring it through until Thursday night, which would extend the rain right into Trick-or-Treating time. However, some models bring it through by late afternoon, which could cut off the rain just in time for the kids.
But right now, plan for a wet and windy day, with highs in the low 60s.
