DETROIT – Sunday will be chilly, but skies will have some sunshine. The rest of the week will be warmer with highs in the 40s, even near 50°F Wednesday.

After "Springing Forward" Saturday night, Sunday's sunrise is at 7:58am ET. Checking all clocks, watches, computers and smartphones for the time change would be a good idea for all Detroiters in order to arrive at appointments on time.

Sunday morning will be cold with mostly cloudy skies. Families going to and from services or to the opening of the Michigan Golf Show in Novi or Autorama in downtown Detroit will need to dress for temperatures in the 20s.

Sunday afternoon will be partly sunny. High temps will be below average by 5 to 10 degrees; in the middle 30s. Sunset is at 7:31pm ET, which is great for people who want to enjoy sunlight later in the evening.

Sunday evening temps will be near freezing.

Sunday night will have fair skies as it becomes colder. Lows will be in the middle and low 20s.

Monday is the start of more seasonable, higher daytime temperatures. Skies will be mostly sunny as the mercury rises to the low 40s. Tuesday will be above average with highs just above 45°F and more blue skies. Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week with highs near 50°F and partly sunny conditions. A weak front will drop temps to the low 40s Thursday and Friday.
