DETROIT -

We’ll have partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies Friday with rain on radar to our north and way out west. So, anyone driving north will run into a few rain and thundershowers in the northern half of lower Michigan.

Highs will top out near 80 degrees with winds becoming south 5-10 mph. SE Michigan stays dry most of the day with a slight chance for a few showers later tonight and more likely overnight into early Saturday.

Saturday will start out stormy but no severe weather is expected. Early morning storms will linger into the early afternoon becoming more scattered as the day goes on.  With clouds and scattered showers around, highs will likely get stuck in the mid to upper 70s. Sunday morning will be cool again in the mid 50s around Detroit, which means some suburbs could see 40s again.

Right now, the computer model data is hinting at a few scattered light showers Sunday, but most of the day will be dry and cooler in the low to mid 70s.
