Rain arriving Sunday, but not until afternoon

Sunday evening rain showers to be followed by Monday snow showers

Saturday's sunshine will give way to rain on Sunday, but not until later in the afternoon.

The metro Detroit area will be on the warm side of a system that brings snow and blizzard-like condition to the northern Plains.

Sunday will be a mild and warmer day. Highs should reach near 38 or 40 degrees with an approaching warm front. We'll see high clouds spread over the area and rain likely by Sunday evening into Sunday night. We could see some light snow around on Monday as the cold front swings through behind Sunday's warm front.
