Rain moves through, dry weather returns to metro Detroit

DETROIT – Much-needed rain will end across southeast Michigan before sunset.

Then we'll go back to those warm and dry days that we have seen so often lately.

Overnight, we'll get lower humidity with clearing skies. Expect to wake up to comfortably average temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s.

Thursday forecast:

Starting Thursday, we'll return to rain-free days and keep the humidity low through the forecast. High temperatures will slowly decrease through the middle of next week until we finally see highs in the 70s by next Wednesday!

Weekend forecast:

Rain chances come back late in the weekend. Right now it looks like we'll see scattered afternoon thunderstorms on Sunday. And another chance will roll through on Monday.
