Rain, storms in forecast for Election Day

More scattered showers after 1 or 2pm

DETROIT – Patchy fog around Tuesday morning especially in areas that saw heavy rain on Monday.

The fog will be replaced in many places with morning rain and scattered thundershowers.

We'll update you with radar all morning but plan on a wet commute for many and grab the umbrella.

Again, We'll see a few more scattered showers and storms after 1 or 2pm.

A stationary front will keep afternoon high temps in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees with light winds SSW 5-10mph.

It will not be wet all day but your outdoor plans will get temporarily interrupted with wet weather.

Wednesday weather will turn from partly to mostly sunny and dry with lower humidity. It will be gorgeous for several days ahead. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s with no rain coming our way for a while.
