Rain, wind and clouds on tap for Monday

Cloudy skies with rain showers moving through

Cloudy skies with rain showers moving through SE Michigan this Monday morning.

The rain will pick up and be with us through the afternoon hours as highs will reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees and then dropping for the rest of the week.

Not only is cool and wet today, but the winds will be brisk SW 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph at times today.

The cold front bringing Monday rains will bring cooler air for Tuesday and beyond.

We'll start in the low and mid 30s tomorrow morning with frost and patchy cool fog in the morning.

Then we'll see cool partly sunny skies and highs struggling to hit 50 degrees tomorrow afternoon.

Winds won't be as strong but still breezy W 10-17 mph with some stronger gusts.

We may see our first snowflakes of the season on Wednesday morning.

For most, it's light rain but many will see a mix of rain and light snow early Wednesday.

We will see a stretch of days in the 30s and 40s starting tomorrow and lasting through the weekend.

We will be watching the cool and wet changes closely this week.
