Rain should start moving into our southern counties around noon and overspreading the area all afternoon.

This should be a steady rain coming in waves that will last most of the week ahead.

With afternoon rain showers, highs only manage the low and mid 50s.

The winds will start gusting E 15-30 mph later this morning and steady breezes continue all day today and into tomorrow. So the evening commute will be wet and windy today.

The heaviest rain over the next week will likely be tomorrow morning.

Rain and thundershowers will make for a very slick Tuesday morning commute.

We will get scattered thundershowers overnight as well. After heavy morning rain, temps warm to near 70° tomorrow afternoon and as a cool front approaches, The Storm Prediction Center is warning we could see a few severe storms in parts of SE Michigan Tuesday afternoon and evening.

More scattered rain showers continue Wednesday with pockets of heavy rain and highs in the low 60s cooling with rain around. Our wet week will continue Thursday and Friday but the rain will be lighter and more scattered later in the week. Get your entire 7Day forecast on clickondetroit.com and on the Weather links:
