Refreshing Tuesday with cooler temps

Highs around 60-62 degrees

DETROIT – Plenty of sun early will be battling some overcast conditions at times through the afternoon.

Increasing clouds and breezes today with highs hovering around 60-62 degrees and winds WNW 10-17 mph gusting over 20 mph occasionally.

More cool air will pour in but not much wet weather ahead.

We will start Wednesday morning with some patchy frost possible.  Detroit temps will fall into the upper 30s which means some of our suburbs could be closer to that freezing mark. We likely won't feel it too cold for too long but cover and protect your plants and flowers that need it.

Highs tomorrow will again warm to around 60 degrees with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

We see a warm up starting Thursday again with highs in the upper 60s leading to 70 degrees temps into the weekend.

The next decent chance for showers will be late Sunday into Memorial Day Monday.

It is very early to place high confidence in a Holiday wash out, so we will update that forecast for you all week.

But, right now it looks quite wet late Sunday into Monday ahead around Metro Detroit.
