Saturday morning will be cold and chilly with a Frost Advisory north of 8 Mile until 8am ET. Temperatures will be in the low and middle 30s. Sunrise is at 6:05am ET. The morning sun will help temperatures rise quickly through the 40s and 50s to the low 60s by lunchtime. The Up North forecast is below, and fortunately dry conditions will greet drivers headed toward the Northern Lower Peninsula and the Upper Peninsula.

Saturday afternoon will be mostly sunny and a bit warmer. Highs will be just above 70 degrees. It may not be warm enough for swimming, but it will be wonderful for Detroiters going to Movement15 in Detroit's Hart Plaza or the Polish Festival in Oakland County.

The Detroit Tigers' game against the Houston Astros at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit will start with the first pitch at 4:08pm ET. It will be warm in the first inning then cooler by the final out. Sunset is at 8:55pm ET, and temps will fall to the low 60s by the end of Saturday evening under fair skies.

Saturday night will be mostly clear and chilly with lows in the middle and low 50s.

Sunday will be partly sunny, but warmer. A southeast wind will push temps to the upper 70s. The weather for the 1pm Tigers-Astros game will be magnificent. Baseball fans must remember their sunglasses and sunscreen.

Memorial Day, Monday, will be a bit warmer and feel more like summer, but showers and thunderstorms are possible. Highs will be near 80°F. Families must remember to never leave their children or pets in unattended vehicles and always listen to lifeguards when lightning is seen or thunder is heard.
