DETROIT – Did you hear sirens in your Oakland County neighborhood? There was no sight of a tornado - It is the county's policy to activate them for Severe Thunderstorm Warnings with 70 mph winds or greater. 

Future forecast

Sunday night will have showers and thunderstorms early. After midnight, stormy activity tapers off a bit with lows in the 60s.

Cool, breezy conditions invade the region Monday. It will feel like fall, again, with highs only near 70 degrees. The record low maximum temperature is 68 set back in 1926. Skies will be mostly cloudy with on and off showers.

Tuesday will be sunnier with afternoon temps still well below average by 10 degrees. Highs will be in the low 70s.

Wednesday will be milder, but showers are possible again with highs in the middle 70s. Temps get closer to 80 degrees by the end of the work-week.
