Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
Bursts of heavy snow continue to plague Detroit and Southeast Michigan late Friday afternoon and evening.
Road and sidewalk conditions will be treacherous at times, and visibility will be reduced drastically. Sunnier conditions arrive by Sunday.

Friday evening remains sloppy and cold with temps near freezing. Snow will become heavy at times, and freezing rain will produce slippery walkways and sloppy highways.
Families and individuals must use extreme caution traveling to and from St. Patty's Day activities, including the 7:30 p.m. ET Pistons game against the Toronto Raptors at The Palace Of Auburn Hills. A trace to 2 inches of snow is possible.
Temperatures will remain around the freezing mark Friday night and early Saturday morning. So, after 9 p.m. ET, when snow and rain dissipates, untreated-surfaces will still be a bit difficult to navigate.
Saturday will have a few more light raindrops and snow flakes from the morning to early afternoon. Drivers must remain alert for daytime activities, whether they include services or the Detroit Red Wings' 1 p.m. E.T. game versus the Colorado Avalanche at Joe Louis Arena in downtown Detroit.
Afternoon temps will be in the low 40s.
