Some fog Thursday morning

Temps to hit 80s

DETROIT – A little patchy fog again to start our Thursday morning as temps dip into the 50s early today outside of the city of Detroit.

Highs today will respond to more sunshine and hit 80 degrees or a bit warmer later this afternoon. Plenty of sun early and then partly cloudy through the afternoon with light winds N/E 5-10 mph.

It will be gorgeous for Friday with a rain free day but then night time hours may be a different story.

Look for mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s tomorrow. Model data is split on how to handle a storm maker coming from Chicago tomorrow. If the rain and thunderstorms roll through SE Michigan, it will be after sunset and overnight and could be perfectly timed so that we don't see too much storm potential affecting outdoor activities.

But, because not all of the data agrees with that scenario yet… we are keeping the weather mostly dry through the weekend.
