All severe thunderstorm watches have expired for southeastern Michigan counties.
Hot and steamy afternoon conditions will meet up with a cold front on the way and that means more scattered storms are likely.
Strong storms are firing south into Indiana and Ohio today.
So, storms are more likely for our southern counties but not exclusively.
Some thunderstorms will produce big soaking rains with lightning and that could lend to isolated flooding concerns this afternoon. Keep your eyes to the skies through the afternoon with temps in the mid to upper 80 before the cold front comes through. The evening will be dry and the beginning of a nice change.
What a difference Thursday with comfortable morning temps falling to almost 60 degrees and lower humidity as you can turn off the AC the next couple of days. Highs will be 75 to 80 degrees Thursday with partly cloudy skies and around 80 degrees Friday with sunny skies.
The weekend looks great as we warm into the low and middle 80s but the humidity won’t be a major factor.
