DETROIT – All severe weather alerts in southeast Michigan have either expired or have been canceled.
Storms moved through the area Friday night bringing heavy rain and strong winds. Thousands have been left without power.

The rest of the night will still feature additional rain chances behind a slow moving cold front. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 50s to the north, and in the low to mid 60s south of Detroit.
Saturday morning will start with some light rain chances (the farther south you are, the better the chance), but all rain should pretty much be done by around 10:00 AM. Clouds will then diminish, with mostly sunny skies ending our day. Highs will be twenty degrees colder than today, with highs Saturday in the low 70s.
Mostly clear Saturday night, with lows in the low 50s.
Mostly sunny both Sunday and Monday, with highs in the mid 70s both days. Overnight lows will remain comfortable -- in the 50s.
Partly cloudy on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 70s.
Rain chances return for part of Wednesday and Thursday, with highs still in the low to mid 70s.
Then, my long range computer models show our coolest airmass of the season invading, with highs on Friday possibly not making it out of the mid 60s. It's going to be a breezy day, too, so get ready for a chill!
