Still snowy Thursday

A couple more inches of snow to end the month

DETROIT – Fresh overnight snow and the likelihood of more this morning and afternoon will make for a slick Thursday and end to February.  1 to 2 more inches will fall.

Thursday morning will be cold and slippery from new snow and sub-freezing conditions.

Temps will start in the upper 20s.

The afternoon will have some scattered flakes with highs in the low 30s.

Wind speeds at 9 to 18 mph from the northwest will make it feel like it is in the teens.

Snow boots and dressing in layers is essential.

Snow comes to an end Thursday night with lows in the 20s.

Friday, the first day of March, will be mostly cloudy but a good day to clean up.  Temps will be near 30 with a lighter wind.

The weekend will have some sun, but it will be colder. 

Saturday and Sunday morning will be in the teens.

Afternoon highs will only be in the mid 20s.
