Storms move through metro Detroit

DETROIT – Storms with lightning and heavy downpours moved through the northern metro Detroit area Monday evening.

Macomb and St. Clair counties were under severe thunderstorm warnings, which have been canceled.

Tuesday will be much nicer with some clouds and showers early on but most areas may not see a lot of additional rain tomorrow morning.

Clouds start clearing through the day and sunshine will be out as the kids get out of school in the early afternoon.

Highs will again hit the low 80s as humidity becomes much more manageable. Wednesday and Thursday look ideal with sunshine and low 80s.
