DETROIT -

Hope everyone is having a fantastic 4th Of July Weekend! Mother Nature is smiling on Detroit and Southeast Michigan with wonderful weather, especially Saturday.

Saturday afternoon will be bright, warm and dry with highs near 80 degrees. It will be perfect for baseball at Comerica Park at 4pm ET. The Detroit Tigers continue to host the Tampa Bay Rays. Hardball fans will need plenty of sunscreen for a sunny afternoon. Same for anyone going to the beach or headed to the pool.

Saturday evening will be great for barbeques and picnics in the park with fair skies and temperatures in the 70s.

Weather for the Salute To America at Greenfield Village will be spectacular, too. Saturday night will be mostly clear and mild with lows in the 60s.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the low 80s. A slight increase in humidity will mean a slight chance of spotty showers late in the afternoon, but most areas of Southeast Michigan will remain dry.

Monday has a better chance of showers. It will be warm and muggy with highs in the low 80s. Tuesday will be summer-like, too, with showers and storms and muggy daytime temps in the 80s.
