Temperature to sink to low 60s Friday

Possible showers north of Metro Detroit

DETROIT – You will feel the change in the air as you step outside this morning.

Lows Friday are dipping into the upper 40's to low 50's with some areas of clearing in the skies. There are a few showers north and east of Metro Detroit towards Port Huron and into Southern Ontario.

North winds 10-20 mph will increase clouds mainly on the eastern third of SE Michigan today and bring a few scattered showers closer to the big lakes as the winds whip off of Lake Huron.

Highs today are only expected to reach the low 60s.

We have Frost Advisories in Central Lower Michigan and points north for early Saturday, but we will also see cold morning lows tomorrow. We will wake up to temps in the upper 30's and low 40's with clear skies making it feel very much like Fall.

Sunshine Saturday will warm us up but only into the mid and upper 60s.

Sunday will be a bit warmer with highs getting near 70 degrees after lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. We will see increasing clouds Sunday and a few showers are possible as we get into the late afternoon and evening.
